Coauthored by three consultants specialized in turning struggling businesses around, this book points out the main factors that spell success or failure for a turnaround. Addressing the various stakeholders--e.g. leadership team, shareholders, financial partners, and advisors-– the authors provide the keys to understand the very specific issues involved in crisis situations. Those responsible for a turnaround will be particularly interested in the very concrete initiatives suggested and put into perspective using many real-life examples. The authors focus principally on reviewing the main qualities required to be a good turnaround executive. Chapter 1, for instance, is almost exclusively devoted to a description of the required characteristics, expertise, skills, etc.
